CHURCH PLANTING
We are Kingdom-focused, not Redeemer-focused.
Redeemer believes strongly in church planting. We desire that the people of our city will know the One True and Living God; that by the grace of Jesus through faithful churches He will be made known. We are Kingdom-focused, not Redeemer-focused. As such, we pray fervently for our sister churches and hope that if God isn't calling you to Redeemer, that you would find your home at Resurrection, Good Shepherd, or Oconee Fellowship.

MEETINGS
To learn more about Redeemer’s plans for our newest church plant, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, join Matt Siple for one of three interest meetings this fall. We’ll talk about the vision, what it looks like to participate, and have plenty of time for you to ask questions.
Childcare will be available for all three meetings.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
The church is God’s plan for the world – his vehicle of kingdom presence and expansion. It’s what God uses both to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and minister that good news to his people. New churches are the best way to reach new people with the gospel. In this way, a church plant enables Redeemer to do something that it cannot do on its own - making room for our members to invite their neighbors to church while also helping us minister to the people we already have.
-
We are looking for a location in the Timothy Road area (somewhere west of the Middle Oconee River and inside the loop). We will remain flexible while we wait to see what the Lord provides.
-
There will be three identical interest meetings this fall (9/14; 9/28; and 10/19). The goal is to have a core group established by the end of the year, then begin to gather for weekly worship in August of 2026.
-
Anyone who wants to hear more about our vision and plans for the coming year should attend one of these meetings. There will also be plenty of time for questions. Attending does not obligate you to join the core group.
