Grab a friend, neighbor, or family member and join women from the Greece missions trip to learn more about Community House Damaris. This is a ministry based in Athens, Greece working to "empower women who have been subjected to sex trafficking and exploitation, along with their children, to achieve freedom and recovery." We will have three opportunities for you to choose from to hear how God is moving in this ministry, how you could become involved, and purchase items made by the program participants.

After Hours: A Redeemer Men’s Event will take place at Chad Milner‘s farm at 8 o’clock on Friday, November 7. Bring a chair for this pastor led discussion with Q&A to follow with the men of our church. See you there - 1920 Malcolm Bridge Rd.

Join us for our 13th Annual Fall Flannel Fest Potluck Party! Rock your finest flannel or plaid shirt, and bring a dish to share! (sign ups below!) This is a great event to invite a friend.

We’ll have fried chicken as the main meal, a photo booth, and some fun classic fall festival games. Invite a friend and we’ll see ya in your flannels and plaids from 6-8pm at the Firestone Room!

Middle Schoolers: Join us for Middle School Lunch this Sunday at Barberitos downtown. Meet in the lobby after worship and bring money for lunch.

Redeemer Young Adults (RYA) will host a Medieval-themed murder mystery party Friday, October 31st at 7pm at Joshua Stucky’s house. Please fill out the RSVP below to receive the address and character information for the party. Come in costume and bring a side dish to share!

The next lunch is on October 19th in the home of Jesse + Gracie Pilkenton at 260 Oakbend Drive Athens, GA 30606. Save the date to come!

Jesse + Gracie Pilkenton have been members of Redeemer for 5 years. Gracie serves on staff at the church as the Communications Coordinator and Jesse is the Operator at Baddies Burger House in 5points. They love hosting around their table, themed parties, incredibly competitive games of spoons, other shenanigans and their kids: Bear, Cooper Cash and Charlie Beth.

Prayer is vital to our individual Christian lives and to the life of our church. Secondly, this will offer us an opportunity to develop deeper personal relationships across the body. Nothing connects us better than prayer with people, and food. 
           
Here are some of the details:

• Redeemer will provide the main portion of the meal (the meat) and drinks, and those of you who attend will bring sides and/or desert.

• We will meet in the Lower Warehouse.

  • 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm // Fellowship Dinner

  • 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm // Prayer

• This is for the whole church family, to include children and youth. There will be no nursery, but please don’t let that stop you from coming.

Class Starts OCTOBER 2ND! Join us as we deep dive into theology together.  

This class is for any student looking to grow in wisdom and knowledge, with the availability for 8 weeks of Thursday night class. With a heavy emphasis on discussion, don't be intimidated by the workload! While we do ask a lot of Theology students (reading, memorization, etc.), the main hope is to learn and to grow alongside your friends. 

Theology 101, 102, and 103 can be taken in any order-- so feel free to jump in! $40 pays for your workbook and other books; returning students only need to pay $15 for the next workbook.

Please make plans to stay after worship for approximately 30 minutes on Sunday, September 28th in order for us to update you on the work of the church. We will cover the following topics: ministry and financial overview, property update, General Assembly summary,etc. We promise to keep it short as possible, simply wanting to keep you informed and make sure you know who to contact if you have any questions.

Pig Pickin' is back!

It's time for the annual Pig Pickin' gathering!
Have someone in mind you'd want to invite?
Do it! Do it now and do it intentionally! 

Come join the BBQ on September 20th from 5-8pm. All families, kids, friends, and neighbors are invited for some good BBQ and music along with lots of games and activities for kids. 

The purpose of these large gatherings is to cultivate a space for genuine outreach opportunities. You are encouraged to think about your friends, families, neighbors, co-workers and acquaintances that you'd love to see there and to reach out to them intentionally.

Save the Date for our Annual All-Family Youth Kick-Off Picnic! Sunday, August 17th from 6-8pm at the Bennett Farm. Bring the whole family and come here about RPCYouth, hangout with other youth families, enjoy some food together, and grab the calendar for the year.
