MISSIONS PRAYER SPOTLIGHT

SEPTEMBER 2026


KURT SCHIMKE | AFRICAN BIBLE UNIVERSITY

  • For both of his children as they focus on their studies.

  • For the 70+ new students who have arrived at ABU: for their adjustments and ABU’s ministry to them.

  • For the government’s approval of each of their new degree programs (Master's in Biblical Theology, BS in Aviation, and the BS in IT).

  • For political stability in Uganda amidst a handover of  power in a few years.

  • For their new requirements to register as foreigners, that the process goes smoothly and the data is not used for evil.

  • For an end to the Ebola breakout in Congo (their western neighbor).

  • For Kurt as he maintains, flies, and fundraises for their airplane.


OWEN OSBORNE | RUF AT UGA

  • For a smooth transition to the day-to-day schedule.

  • For his ability to invest in the incoming Freshman.

  • For wisdom and trusting in God and His plans for Owen after this year.

  • For fundraising in the coming year.


BRIAN MOORE | CHURCH PLANTER IN FREIBURG, GERMANY

  • For the Lord to continue to build and establish Christ Church Freiburg.

  • For the Lord to raise up more leaders - specifically for Marco, Max, and Ivan who are being raised up or actively trained as elders; and Kate and Kaja as they develop women’s leaders.

  • For revival in Freiburg.

  • For his children, particularly Julia and Andrew as they start new schools this Fall.

  • For the Moore Family, specifically as they try to develop 8 ministry teams (Hospitality, Translation, Tech, etc.) over the next year.

TIM KAY | EDGEWOOD MINISTRIES

  • For their training program as their ministry continues to grow and expand.

  • For the RUF at Makerere University and campus minister Ezra Kwizera and his wife Alyssa.

  • For RUF at Lira University, which has just launched this month, and for campus minister John Paul and his wife Betty.

  • For Francis Ocen and his wife Jordan as they begin a church planting project in Gulu, Uganda with a vision to start an RUF at Gulu University.

  • For Hal and Tim as they continue to fundraise as ministry opportunities expand.

  • For Andrea and Tim as they feel fatigued with family challenges, health issues, and the demands of ministry life.
